Wraparound Child Care

Rollout of Wraparound Childcare

From September 2024, the National Wraparound Childcare Programme will commence, with the ambition that by September 2026 most working parents will be able to access wraparound childcare either on their child’s school site or within the local community. This offer will be available during term time for parents and carers with primary school-aged children.

Due to delays with our new school building and restrictions on space at our current site, Harlowbury is not currently able to offer a full package of wraparound care. However, we continue to provide:

• Breakfast Club daily from 7:40 am

• A selection of after-school enrichment clubs run by external providers and school staff for different year groups

We are aware of the following external providers who currently offer wraparound childcare in the local area at the end of the school day. Please contact them directly for availability and pricing:

2. Chillout Harlow

We understand that every family’s working arrangements are unique. If you need alternative childcare, you may also wish to search online for additional providers in the local area.
