FAQ's

How much is Breakfast Club?

The daily fee for the club is £2.00 per session, payable half termly in advance (agreement/invoice will be issued).  A discount will be offered to low income families who apply for free school meals through Essex County Council and appear on the free school meals entitlement register provided to the school.

My child was sick last night/this morning, can they come to school?

May we remind parents and carers, if your child is sick, for any reason, or has an upset tummy they cannot attend school for 48 hours from the last bout of sickness or diarrhoea.

We rely on the honesty of parents to inform us of any illness, although children always like to tell us when they have been ill!  If your child tells us they have been sick within the last 48 hours you will receive a call to collect them from school.

Please click on link for our Guidance on Infection Control in Schools for future reference, regarding recommended time off from school for common illnesses:

Can you give my child some Calpol?

No, sorry, we can only administer prescribed medications.  These must be brought to the school office by parents and carers who will be required to complete and sign the relevant medical consent form.

Can I pay my child's dinner money on Parentmail?

No, sorry not yet.  School visits can be paid on Parentmail, payments for dinners will follow shortly.
